Welcome to FYNEMODS

Hi my name is Matt and I am the creator of FyneMods.
I specialise in making custom bespoke hand built box mods and squonkers.
All the mods I create are built from solid blocks of stabilized wood, natural wood and full resin.

Fynemods is my only job, I do not just do this as a side line. It is a full time career so all my time and devotion goes into creating and building bespoke mods and squonkers.

Each Mod is built from scratch in my workshop here in the heart of the Scottish Highlands over-looking the beautiful shores of Loch Fyne.

I feel so blessed to be able to live in such a stunning part of the UK, the surrounding mountains and views give great calm and inspiration.

(A bit about me)

We moved to Scotland from Essex in 2016 and I'm so happy we took the plunge!
Living in this very remote part of the country brings so much calm and happiness! We are surrounded by mountains, and the stunning Arrochar Alps are within sight of our house and only 20miles drive away!

This allows me to indulge in one of my other pleasures which is Hill walking and mountaineering.
My girlfriend and I try to get out at least once a week (weather dependent) to climb a mountain and enjoy the views.
My other passion is my Rat rod! If you're a car person you will know what I'm on about :-)
I enjoy waking up everyday and seeing the huge variety of animals and birds that visit us; we often get deer- Red, Roe and Sika. We also get Red Squirrels and Pine Martens, and occasionally spot an Otter. There are many birds of prey too, from Buzzards to Golden Eagles and Owls. All this widlife is great to try and photograph, another of my hobbies :-)
